Selling online is tough.

I have started selling stuffs online since 2016. I and my husband Aris started selling Tuna products to our friends. He is working abroad that time in 2016, while I am working in an NGO Cooperative. He is doing the marketing, while I am in charge with the sales.

We brought a fridge for our frozen Tuna products. My younger brother and his family live with us during that time helped me deliver the products to our customers.

But this online selling enterprise did not last long. Although it is food stuff, it is a hard sell due to the fact that we do not have a shop for our products. We are selling it online and stock it in the fridge inside our house. We do not have the capacity to rent a place as we are still renting at that time. I am busy also with my day job, and the only time I can be able to response the customers is during office breaks and after office hours.

My husband makes an FB page for marketing, but it helped a little.

Then my brother and his family decided to move out from us, so our delivery system was stopped as well.

Nevertheless, we have sold the remaining frozen stuff but we have stopped for a while our online selling.

Two years later, I have seen online a new beauty product line in the market.

I saw Ms. Joan De Jesus’ live Facebook showing to the viewers how to use her line of products. She is selling Gel’s beauty products; FDA approved and organic lines of beauty soap, rejuvenating sets , maintenance sets, make-up kits, liptints.

I am enticed to try. With the new opportunity I have stumbled upon, I jot down her number, send her a message to inquire about the products, and set a schedule to video call my husband abroad to tell him about this opportunity.

The result is positive. My husband told me to go ahead and claim distributorship right in my district.

He is a very supportive husband, and he helped me a lot in Facebook marketing. Facebook page is proven to be very helpful in marketing the products.

We keep on sharing it with our friends and to the online selling Facebook group as well.

The live selling is also very helpful. People can really appreciate it when they see the procedure on how to use it while having the evidence with its effect.

And the rest is history.

We are now Provincial Distributor of Davao Del Sur and Davao Del Norte.

This helped me a lot during this Pandemic, as a lot of ladies buy it as it is essential as it seems.

Really. Beauty is essential.
